Donnie's message of fear and division isn't pitched much at suburbanites.

Racial division just doesn't play there the way that it did even a couple of decades ago. The suburbs used to be where urban whites took flight to as the cities diversified. But these days there's enough diversity in the burbs that people are starting to understand that the problems of the inner city are not about the race of the inhabitants. The TrumpShow and Fox News are desperately trying to scare them into compliance, but in the face of a pandemic the usual nonsense isn't getting the traction that it once did.

Oh woe. So sad.
